The other day we took the girls to a Dodgers Game (we have no idea who won because we left early). But strollers are not really stadium friendly so we were letting Ila walk while Ava was safe in the Ergo. When suddenly my husband asked if Ila had any ID on her. No she didn’t – and I realized while she knows her full name, she wont always say it, and she most certainly doesn’t know my cell phone number or her home address. And it could just take a second to lose her in this crowd.
When I got home I started looking at ID bands for kids. And then I decided to get these rubber ones and could get 200 of them for the same price as two of the ID bands I found on Amazon. So if she loses hers, who cares we have so many more, although people all over town will find a bracelet with my cell phone number.
It’s worth the risk to attempt to get her back, I mean our dog has ID so why shouldn’t my child?
