Kingston is the epitome of cool kid style. Gavin and Gwen have influenced his style and it shows. Not only does this kid just look to cool to approach on the playground he is stylish from head to toe. Including a bleached hair do. Should a kid still sucking a pacifier be sporting bleach blond hair? Is it safe?
I will admit I love accessorizing Ila. She wears a necklace, an anklet and has had her toes painted pink and red. It is too hard to pain them now because she wont sit still long enough to let them dry.
Letting your kid express him/herself is great. I also think guidance is important. As you know a child would wear a tutu and glitter all day everyday if you let them.
Rachel Lindy hair stylist at Fred Segal Salon in Santa Monica and new mom said “Well I wouldn’t do it. Why expose them to all those chemicals at such a young age? I have had celebrity moms ask me to hilite their 4 year olds hair and I said I wasn’t comfortable. I suppose the safest process would be hilites because it doesn’t have to touch the scalp but I would never put coloR on the scalp of a young child, especially bleach.”
According to experts any child under the age of ten should never have their hair tinted or bleached as their hair wont be as resistant and will damage easier also will cause a child’s hair to snap and fall out at a young age. Bleach is a very strong chemical for anyone let alone a kid and placed close to the scalp it will be absorbed in the blood stream.
