The best places to get mommy tricks is from other moms. That is why I started this site. When I was pregnant with Ila I kept a very detailed journal and since having Ava the journals have become less detailed and frequent. So a mom of grown kids shared with me the “post it note trick”. When they say or do something great you write it on a post it note and stick it on your calendar on the day they said or did something. Then at the end of the year you put the calendar in a big envelope and put it away for your kids.
Easy and totally doable. So I can always remember last Sunday when I walked into Ila’s room after her nap and it was like a hurricane hit – I asked her what happened and she told me “I was making my room happy!”
