I recently got my girls a tent that hangs from the ceiling and is beautiful. Of course my husband thought I was crazy for 1. Spending the money and 2. bringing one more thing into the house. But now he loves it. Only girls are alloed. My older daughter calls me in to have sweet talks or read books and even sing to me. The girls just use the nook to relax with one another and snuggle. Once in a great while if my husband is lucky he is allowed in the tent.
I go in all the time however, because I am a girl. I like that they have a special space that is all theirs. Where they can chill out, read, and just center themselves. The only thing inside of our tent is a big bean bag covered in a fur cover, from Restoration Hardware Kids not 1970′s shag. Sometimes I wish I had a special space because as it stands it is me hiding in the bathroom when I get a chance.
