So We Did It We Kept Ava’s Diaper On

I am ashamed to say it but it was Duct tape that did the trick. We bought everything. We tried backwards footy pj’s we did it all. And what evolved from a diaper off ended up being every night Ava taking off her diaper, her pj’s and very kindly herĀ  crib sheet. I couldn’t believe she was willing to sleep in the wet bed. At first she would yell “help me” and I would go in and change her. But then I thought if she wanted a dry bed she should stop taking off her diaper. I was also a bit miffed that I was changing her bedding every morning. We tried duct taper after the safety pins failed and were still in tact, we are still wondering how she got out of that contraption. But the duct tape worked. And until she stops we will just have to buy duct tape in bulk and cut her out of her diaper every morning. Oy this is not anything I ever envisioned doing in my life.
